Grilled Vegg Buddha Bowl

I stood infront if the fridge for a while debating what I’m going to do tonight lol VEGGGGIES it is!

so here’s what I did!

GET YOUR BROWN RICE COOKIN

PREP THE KALE (wash, take away chunky stalks, massage & meditate in lemon juice, lime juice and oil) (now is a good time to to put loving nutritious Life force energy into your kale as you massage , when done, let it sit while you prepare the veggies) 

Broccolini 

we’ve been having a lot of broccolini lately and I wanted to prepare it a little different this time 

so I brought a pot of water to boil with some butter… 

cut off the ends of the broccolini and wash them 

once the water comes to a boil, put the broccolini In for about 5 mins… 

strain and keep just a dash of that broccolini water… put it back on the heat to simmer. Put in a nice slab of butter and season with salt and fresh cracked pepper and lemon pepper

toss the broccolini in that mixture until each piece is nice and coated

now for the exciting optional part… it really takes the broccolini to the next level 

you put them on the grill and let them roast a bit until you get a nice char ✨ 

damn. Crunchy on the outside. Soft on the inside. So much flavor. 
Once you’re bringing them off the grill, throw them back in that pot with the remaining butter mixture. Toss them around again. 
go inside, add some lemon juice and quick toss 

this is so delicious. It’s worth all the steps. It really is the star of its own show entirely. Would be great as a side for steak, chicken salmon, tofu on their own… add some cheese… pine nuts idk you name it. Hearty and great taste 

now for the other veggies! 
I prepared Brussel sprouts, mini sweet peppers and onions to be grilled 

Cleaned, prepped and seasoned in oil, salt & pepper 

placed on the grill until cooked to desired liking 

 

Now, we assemble! 
I took my Brianas Honey Mustard(must be this brand) out of the fridge and drizzled that into the kale and mixed that around. It made a wonderful vinaigrette mixing with the citrus and oil

place a clean scoop of brown rice in half your bowl.. drizzle soy sauce 

on the other, place your kale mixture 

now, assemble your veggies on top!

I chopped my broccolini and put that on top of the kale, then I placed a beautiful grilled onion slice in the center and placed my peppers and Brussel sprouts around it 

topped with avocado 

and drizzle the kale dressing mixture over the top of your veggies 

a wowza a zinga a real hitta
